Fursac designs the new uniform of Paris Orchestra.

Drawing on his background as a musician, Gauthier Borsarello, Creative Director of the House from 2021 to 2025, envisioned an outfit designed specifically for the practice of music. A black shawl-collar tuxedo, white shirt, and silk cummerbund bring elegance while underscoring the solemnity and refinement of the orchestra. Made to measure for each musician, the ensemble is tailored from natural materials—wool and cotton—neither too warm nor too cold, ensuring perfect comfort on stage.

“I set out to strike the right balance between comfort, elegance and tradition. A touch of tradition is important and reassures the audience that the musicians have risen to the occasion. That’s all part of the performance, capturing the moment and creating an impression on stage” says Gauthier Borsarello
