Founded in Paris in 1973 and setting up its first workshops in the small town of Saint-Etienne-de- Fursac in Creuse, from which it takes its name, Fursac remains unmistakably French.
Over the years, the house has developed a complete and more inclusive wardrobe, defining a distinctly French flair with design sensibilities that cater to all modern men.
Since 2021, the direction given by Gauthier Borsarello is that of a meaningful, studied and cultural aesthetic, providing a unique vision of the French men’s wardrobe.
Beyond trends, the Fursac wardrobe remains timeless and continuously relevant — designed to age beautifully, be repeatedly worn and eventually passed on to the next generation.
Each piece is developed to respond to and anticipate the wearer’s every wish and need, keeping tailoring philosophy and attention to details at the heart of every collection,
A product built to last until it becomes vintage through a strong savoir-faire and an impactful creative vision.
Art and elegance as a lifestyle, fashion as a cultural experience.
By building an authentic community gathered around the same values, Fursac aims at emphasizing quality, service and elevated experience at every level. Season after season, it becomes a platform echoing l’Art de vivre à la française always in tune with the times.
Gauthier Borsarello is considered a go-to expert on vintage clothing in France, and has built up an archive of over 2,000 unlabeled items of notable significance. An avid enthusiast of militaria, workwear and American menswear from a young age, he has been involved in numerous projects, each with the objective of fusing contemporary design with the style of times gone by.
He was appointed creative director of Fursac in 2021. Since its arrival the House entered the official Paris Fashion Week calendar and significantly strengthened its creative statements both tailoring and casual.
Gauthier Borsarello also founded the magazine L’étiquette as well as the podcast Habitudes (so press) with journalist Marc Beaugé and the vintage fashion shop Le Vif.
